All Head Coaches must complete the Coaches Application their first season only.

Only HEAD COACHES must complete the Coaches Application, but ALL COACHES (Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches) must fill out the Background Check and complete Concussion Training.  Get the link for the Background Check from your Head Coach or Jacquie Pearson. jacquiepearson@yahoo.com

JPSports is excited to announce our partnership with PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance).  PCA will conduct their "Double-Goal Coach" Workshop from 8:00-9:30pm at our Winter League coaches meeting at Gold Crown Fieldhouse on October 26, where coaches will get PCA certified in the program.  We encourage all JPS coaches to attend and take advantage of this opportunity! 

There is clear research on the type of coach and culture that enables kids to thrive, both as athletes and as people. We have partnered with the Positive Coaching Alliance to give our coaches the training, best practices and tools to ensure this type of youth sports experience for the kids in our community.

Each of our coaches are required to attend the Double Goal Coach: Coaching for Winning & Life Lessons workshop/certification. The workshop is fun, interactive and based off of decades of sports psychology and best practices from 100s of the most successful coaches and athletes from around the world.

Chatfield Youth Coaches,

I want to invite you to our annual coaching clinic that we host before the start of each season. We will cover drills, philosophy of Chatfield Basketball, offenses and defenses that will help prepare your players to grow into a high school player at Chatfield. We will have many of our varsity and JV players demonstrating. Please come, take notes, and have questions ready for us!
