Chatfield 2026 Youth Assessments

Boys Youth Assessments: (Players are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible to allow for a thorough evaluation process.)

All sessions at Chatfield High School

 

  • 5th - 6th Grade Boys 1:00pm - 2:30pm August 15th, 22nd and 29th
  • 7th - 8th Grade Boys 2:30pm - 4:00pm August 15th, 22nd and 29th
  • 5th - 6th Grade Boys 2:00pm - 3:30pm August 23rd
  • 7th - 8th Grade Boys 3:30pm - 5:00pm August 23rd
  • Bring water, ball and wear a reversible jersey

 

  • 2nd - 3rd grade boys - may return to their 2025-2026 team, form a new team, or request to be placed on a team.  They will NOT attend assessments. 
  • 4th - 8th grade teams that want to play in the silver or bronze division can form a team without attending tryouts. 

Girls Youth Tryouts:

2nd-6th grade girls - may return to their 2024-2025 team, form a new team or request to be placed on a team. 

7th and 8th grade girls: We will evaluate the need for a team placement on September 30th after we look at registration numbers and determine if there is a need for tryouts.  

 

  • If needed, a team placement date for 7th and 8th Grade Girls will be October 5th in the evening.
  • Please bring a reversible jersey, basketball and water bottle to tryouts.
